去る12月26日、BBC Radio 1「John Peel Show」で恒例の人気投票FESTIVE 50の5時間スペシャルが放送、リスナーからの投票で選ばれた2002年の上位全50曲が発表されました。2002年版FESTIVE 50にはCINERAMAが3曲ランクイン！うち1曲はDavid GedgeにとってはTWP時代を通じても過去最高タイとなる2位を記録しました。以下2002年のチャートです(順位／アーティスト名／曲名の順に表記)。

という訳でアルバム『Torino』発売年だったCINERAMAは2位に「Quick, Before It Melts」、13位に「Careless」というシングルカットもされた楽曲、そして39位にアルバムからの「Cat Girl Tights」という3曲がチャートインしました。ちなみに2位というのはCINERAMAでは過去最高、TWP時代では下記の通り1988年の「Nobody's Twisting Your Arm」、1989年の「Kennedy」に並ぶ成績という事になります。投票にご協力頂いた皆様に感謝します！なお、17位にはJohn Peelも大絶賛し、BBCの某TV番組にも使用されていたという日本のASA-CHANG & 巡礼の「花」がランクインしています。
